Hi and welcome 👋 If your viewing The Urban Historian websites or participating in the online History Cafe's and other online activities, I welcome you.

Due to illness, I had to cancel all events from March 2023 until mid 2025 due to treatment for Leukemia. I have now resumed light work by delivering fortnightly history cafes and monthly history talks.

If you like what you see on Renfrewshire Ancestors, Renfrewshire Heritage or Urban Historian website, you may like to support my research.

You can buy me as many coffees as you wish via the tab on the bottom right (1,3 &5 are the common options but in the last box you can enter as many as you wish).

You can also become a member for £3 a month which will give you advanced notice of events and occasional discounts or even free access to the odd event!

Any support given is very much appreciated.
