What is 2 Minute Mates?

2 Minute Mates is a social movement designed to get young people talking about their feelings, asking for help and checking in on their mates- All simple and easy tasks that seem to be heavily overlooked in our society. Rather than being labelled as a mental health discussion, this campaign aims to create action from the friends of the affected and become a platform for change. ‘Mates’ will be encouraged to start the conversation and get their mates to talk up, rather than waiting for them to ask for help; a proactive, not reactive approach.
