Darkest Greetings.

C L Raven are horror writing, ghost hunting, poledancing, burlesque dancing mistresses of the macabre. Because Bringers of Nightmares isn't a recognised job title. They've been published writers since 2008, however because they're not making Stephen King's level of money, are consistently viewed as a 'raging disappointment.' They actually hate coffee. However, their love for Red Bull is well known and the more they drink, the nicer they are. And hopefully one day they will make enough money to... more

No Rest for the wicked

We've been super busy since lockdown restrictions eased. We now teach polefit and aerial hoop six evenings a week, and on Saturday's we're still doing The Graveyard Shift on Vitalize Radio 7-9 p.m. Our latest issue of When In Chrome magazine is now out and we're now working on issue 8. When we wrote our SWOT analysis and business plan for the magazine and our studio, we failed to foresee a global pandemic as a threat. We have been forced to temporarily close our shiny new pole studio, but it means we have reverted back to being full-time writers. We have started a new novel, The Eden Project, which is... more

No rest for the wicked.

It's March. MARCH. How the hell did this happen? January lasted for about ten years, February came, we turned 37 and boom, now it's March. We have a few stories being released right now. Three in fact. Our horror erotica, Touch of Death, was released in the Deranged anthology. Our story, Dying Art, about a man who fully employs the zero waste policy when making furniture, is being released in Laughing at Shadows anthology and our true crime article, About a Boy, about teenage Welsh... more
