Well, people, it's that time of year again. Black History Month USA has rolled around so if you're in the states be prepared to see adverts from companies who don give a crap about you bombarding you with "Woke" adverts and making tenuous links to the black community and history. It's hard not to be jaded about the whole thing. I was not too fond of the entire concept of black history month for a long time. I questioned why it was only a month until I hit the realisation that the only real, time constraint placed on celebrating black history are the ones we put there ourselves. So, let this month be the beginning of a life long celebration of Black History, celebrate the incredible achievements of Black people around the world and throughout time loudly and proudly as only we can.
