In the ‘80s I was privileged to be playing with some of the finest gospel artists and musicians in the UK.
Chris Eaton was one such incredible artist.
He arranged this traditional Christmas carol for Cliff Richard who, along with the London Symphony orchestra took it to No. 11 in the charts.
Our live version, with Chris, was recorded (and broadcast live) by Beacon Radio in Dudley, West Mids. during our Christmas tour in 1984. (Video/Audio attached).
We didn’t have the LSO, but we did have an audience of a thousand, jangling car keys like sleigh bells (and Pete Brookes on guitar. With his twin Mesa Boogie amps - sitting no more than 6 feet away from me - his solo almost blew my head off...lol..!)🎸🤪🤯
Although this year will be a tough one for me and my family I want to wish all Channel Members and Supporters a Happy Christmas.
