This song captures the spirit of the rebellious party person - indulgent, intentionally defiant, "Fuck you if you try to tell me what to do." Almost by definition as a thief, Felicia Hardy is a rebel. She is all about indulging and having fun, and doing what feels good regardless of legality or social morality.
But in all the sex, drugs, and rock and roll of this song, there's also a camaraderie, a sense of kinship, and support of those who also choose to rebel and have a good time. Felicia does not trust easily, but she does have a few loyal gang members she relies on. She also has allies and mutual back-scratching. They may not know all of each other's secrets, but there is an inescapable bond that comes with committing a crime together.
