What Obsession Leads to...

Aug 18, 2020

Obsession leads to compulsive behavior. Obsession is a thing of the mind. When you allow yourself to get obsessed with something or someone, it leads you to act compulsively (in a way that you cannot control). You start to do things against normal reactions. You may even feel ashamed but you can't control it and so that behavior continues.

Compulsive behavior is a behavior that cannot be controlled except you deal with obsession.

The reason why most people don't know the reason why they get obsessed with something or someone is because obsession stems from deeper preexistent issues that a person has.

Examples of compulsive behavior that results from obsession include:

- Stalking

- Abuse

- Hatred

- Extreme and unreasonable jealousy

- Emotional blackmailing both of yourself and the person you're obsessed with

- Constant negative self-thought

- Self- harm to gain pity or attention

- Other negative attention-seeking behaviors

- Having the wrong motive towards striving to achieve success

- Wild irrational behavior (in your relationship or in reaction to failure)

- Refusal to comply with logical reasoning

- Easily taking things personal & irrational suspicion

- Acting below yourself or being extra to keep whatever or whoever you're obsessed with
