Now I'm not saying Kanye is the greatest artist of all time

(Even though I might be thinking it)

What I am saying is that we can all learn to take a page from his story.

Kanye is so confident about who he is because he actually believes what Yahweh has said about him.

That is humility.

If God had called him the greatest artist of all time,

And Kanye agrees with that.

Then that is the definition of humility.

Because no matter how great one person is,

It's only because God was first even greater.

Before you can be great for God,

You have to be great with him.

That's what I believe Kanye has been doing.

Nothing can shake him because he is fully convinced he is God’s favorite.

I think we can get it twisted when we think about John 3:30 When it says

"He must become greater and I must become less."

I think often times we interpret that as we are trash.

And we deserve to act like trash so that God looks better by comparison.

How far from the point.

God doesn't need us to help Him with His greatest.

He just is.

We are coheirs in His glory.

By definition, sons look like their fathers.

And maybe the persona of Kanye's greatness,

Is Him realizing just that.

That he is a son.

With whom He is well pleased.

For the temptation of this world pales in comparison to the revelation of sonship.

Don't despise the sons,

Celebrate them.
