Ever since I can remember, my childhood best friend and I have been utterly obsessed with the fae, magic, witchcraft and anything else of a magical nature. I remember in elementary school, when we would get "free computer time" in the computer lab ( before every classroom was stocked with a chromebook cart) we would spend our free time just googling pictures of anime style fairies, and picking out our "characters" for recess. I'm not sure about her, but I am still very obsessed with the magical side of life, and everything it has to offer, including artistic inspiration!
I'm not too sure why I'm stuck on the blues and greens. I just think they are so eye catching and fun to work with, especially for a water fairy, or any type of spirit. This piece is my first fairy type creature with wings. I also have another type of water nymph without wings floating around here somewhere, both similar in design but this one can fly!
