When I create a nature collage, I love to layer my ephemera on foam sticky squares, so that it appears that the viewer is peering into the trees.
In this collage of the squirrel with the nut, the leaves around my squirrel have been placed at different angles to create this effect. I cut apart some of the oak leaves to create those smaller segments.
