Well it’s the weekend again, where we can get all dressed up to do absolutely nothing! That’s right, a weekend of fun filled nothingness lol!
I was having trouble getting to sleep and a friend had messaged me saying he’d been mosying through comedy stuff on YouTube and spotted a video of Jason Manford singing with me in Planet Bat and Kitchen in Edinburgh. I seriously thought I’d banged on about this happening for so long that everyone knew about it!
Story was that my friend Steph had messaged me one night asking if I’d seen Jason’s Facebook. I was working the bar that night so hadn’t been on Facebook. He was in town to do a gig at the Edinburgh playhouse and had posted about fancying some karaoke after the gig. I commented saying we had drag queen karaoke and were right next door. I thought no more of it til he walked through the door alone.
Long story short, we got him pissed and mates made us sing together at the karaoke.
Bear in mind, I had been on a double shift in the bar, so no sequins or party dress this night, just my bar uniform hehe!
So if you’re in Edinburgh, or visiting... when everything opens up again, pop into planet for a drink or some lunch... the food is fantastic!!!
