Tonight's Open Mic event with Les Ladies and SMWSLT via Meet Up was FIRE!!! I was nervous, and honestly a little too shy to really let go and... go there. I will hopefully adjust. The ladies tonight seemed so in touch with their inner sensuality. Some, VERY much so! It's what I want for my best self. To let go and not be so self conscious. Which did happen a little, when I started reading my poem titled: "Alice in Aramaic: or How I Came, and Loved the Rabbi". Which was described as "sensual" "luscious" and "a celebration of the sweetness of the first time with a woman". Which is a thing I'm waiting on. And harpooning all of the huge things in verse while I wait: Race, religion, sexuality. NBD...
