Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa)

Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa)

Sep 25, 2021

Second-time flowering of my Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa). It is an annual or perennial herb or woody-based subshrub. It is perhaps the most widely eaten and popular vegetable in Myanmar. In the Philippines, the leaves and flowers are used to add sourness to the chicken dish tinola (chicken stew).

With lots of young fruits already.
