I can't wait, on Saturday, 1/14, I will be bringing our Mississippi River Songs show to the Dakota, one of the premier music establishments in Minnesota. Gospel legend Robert Robinson and I created this show together. We will celebrate water, harmony and rhythm. We will sing 7 original songs from our drive down the Mississippi early last year. Please look into tickets to join us!
Each Saturday I continue to host Perfection-Free Community Singing. Our last meeting 3 weeks ago had 45 people singing together in our own, improv style. I am so glad to be doing this work. We will be singing this Saturday at City of Lakes Waldorf School (because our usual haunt is busy) and then we are back at Kierans Kitchen NE on 1/14. I continue to go online occasionally to do The Green Porch. Actually, I was on twice this week due to snow days at our school where I split the 8th grade class (and salary) with a wonderful co teacher. The Green Porch is a FaceBook live event on my personal page.
Another highlight, I was asked to coax my family into singing the Christmas Eve Services at Aspen Chapel in Aspen, Colorado. We sang 7 songs in each service, there were 3 services on Christmas eve. So good to spend time in-song with our family. There is a special intimacy when we sing together.
I continue to write and preform songs as a solo artist. I will soon be posting 3 new original songs. I will let you know asap! as this evolves.
