Just a thought for 2022

Just a thought for 2022

Dec 19, 2021

As the year comes to a close let's take a little time to look at what we've lost, that's usually what we do, the last two years have been hard for us all. we've all been dealing with this covid and the lockdowns, the quarantines, and the loss and sickness and death. The thing about it is when you have chronic illness loss sickness and even sometimes death is a daily occurrence. This is our life the world has been living the life of a chronic illness person.

Most would say no, it's not that way, they want to brush it off, they want to dismiss us they want to put us in the shadows mostly like they always do just in general. The fact of the matter is living with a chronic illness is precisely like living in a pandemic. Not to dwell on all the politics on all the yes and the no the red and the blue but just to shine a light on the life and the way that a person with chronic illness or with an invisible illness lives day in and day out. It’s very important and not to forget if we ever win this fight coronavirus and misinformation let us not forget those that live day to day year to year minute by minute with chronic illness, pain, fatigue sadness, and depression. Those of us that live with these symptoms these debilitating life-altering and life-changing symptoms are only asking for understanding. we're not asking for sorrow not asking for your sympathy. We're simply asking you to understand and to give us the patience and the respect that you would give any other person living with something they did not ask for. Let us enter this new year with peace and harmony.

Most of all please, please let’s not bum-rush 2022 because clearly, all the expectations shouting and yelling is all too much for a brand new baby year. So let’s just take it easy on the poor thing.
