Hi Everyone. I thought I’d start a buy me a coffee page as a self employed photographer it’s nice to connect with people who like my work and imagery. I’m based in the Scottish Highlands and I’ve now been open as a business for near 2 years. I’ve got near 22k followers in Facebook and 1.5k on Instagram. Many people have started donation pages via multiple links but as the last few years have been financially hard for everyone I think this method allows people to support my work and connect as a result. I love photography and I certainly love my photography in Scotland. I love posting up on my Facebook and Insta page and I also enjoy all the lovely comments people give me. Scotland is such a beautiful and diverse environment with loads to explore, four seasons to enjoy, with many little nooks and crannies to find. This is obviously my first post so I’m trying to outline a little bit about me and what I am about. I spent 27 years in the fire service before I retired two years ago. Before that I spent five years in the Royal Navy as a marine engineer deployed to the Falklands and the Gulf. My entire adult life has been spent in uniforms in one form or another so when I retired, at quite an early age, I decided that I wanted the creative “me” to get a chance to grow and develop. By the way I do love a good latte.
