A couple of weeks ago, I was just having one of those days where I was feeling totally out of sync with life. So I aborted my normal schedule and routine and took a long walk to Cheesman park, my favorite restorative spot in Denver.
It was a majestic day filled with radiant blue skies and a vibrant energy emanating through the air. I took a seat on my favorite bench and peered out at this gorgeous tree in front of me (yes, it’s the one pictured above).
Crazily, it started to speak to me, really speak to me. So I spoke back to it.
As I was leaving the park a couple of hours later, I vowed to never tell anyone about my “speaking tree” experience out of fear of being cast as a nut case.
But then there was this article, written by a woman named Loni who lives in Korea. She offers a living testament of the powerful force that trees can have in our lives.
