This past Thursday I was up in Johannesburg for a quick visit to my parents and to attend a wedding.
Johannesburg welcomed me with a spectacular thunderstorm which I attempted to photograph in the late afternoon.
I went up to the Cedar Square rooftop parking and watched as this incredible storm approached from the South. It started raining heavily, but just before the rain, this is what I managed to capture.

Johannesburg will always be so special to me, and the thunderstorms are absolutely exquisite so I was happy to experience this and share it with you.
