All of us at Bela Pedra thank you so much for your support and cheerleading. (Us being me, dogs and the pigs!) You have kept me going when the going got tough. I wish you all a great holiday season.
My next big project is to build a barn to be able to store some hay, pig feed and also have 2 warm maternity wards for the pigs. A goal is to upgrade my solar which has struggled in the rain the last two months, and then move my current solar to the new barn (still to be built) so I can have power there to run heat lamps in the maternity wards if necessary.
I never considered failing with this venture. I firmly believe if I just keep doggedly putting one foot in front of the other, I'll get there in the end.
The volunteers that have visited the farm have been fantastic and a huge help. I am very much aware I'd never have gotten this far if it wasn't for the help of others.
So thank you all once again and stay safe and sane and have a blessed festive season.
