Thank you to everyone who has supported this project over the last 8 months. It's grown a lot larger than I ever anticipated and the number of users still astounds me!
I've been fairly quiet for the last 3 months. I had to take some time away for myself but the market has been quite... boring... so I've been putting time into personal things backed up due to building this tool.
So, you're probably asking yourself "What's the status of the 3C Portfolio Manager looking forward?" Well, That's an interesting question that I'm trying to decide based on my time availability and complexity.
Here's what I'm thinking as the path forward for big new things:
Option 1 - Integrated Back-tester:
It's been on my mind to bring a back-tester directly into the 3cpm platform. My thought here is a few things.
It would need a true "Bot Planner" where you can see the impact of the settings on the deviation and compare the bots on pure settings.
It would need to give you the ability to backtest bots and compare them with the real-world historical analysis. This would be done by feeding it bot settings and time ranges, then pulling/calculating how it would have done.
Then it should take those settings and easily help build a bot within 3Commas.
Option 2 - A Hosted Solution:
Essentially bringing the UI of 3cpm into the web so you can have access on your phone, tablet, whatever. It's frustrating to me to be forced to use the app on my computer, but that's been the solution to minimize the complexity of this app and provide you with the most security. This is one that I personally desire, but I'm a bit more hesitant about it. I know how complicated it is to properly secure and store the information of others and to protect the platform itself. With that in mind, IF we did this there would be a small cost just to help pay for hosting and upkeep. I don't have an amount, but it would not be out of reach for anyone.
Option 3 - Better Exchange / ROI stats
One of the most frustrating things to calculate in my opinion is how much in fees are you paying and what is your actual daily ROI based on deposits, withdrawals, and more. I was thinking of a dashboard that would need to connect to your exchange with read-only access to pull this data and sync it with 3Commas stats. Basically, more charts and more information for you to parse.

So, what am I working on now?
Well, the platform has grown a lot so I've been cleaning up the code across the board, adding testing for accuracy, and more. My goal is to make the code approachable so people with fantastic ideas can submit them, and when something goes wrong I'm not scrambling to find the bug. This is a process, but I'm about 40% done so far.

Final thoughts.
This isn't a promise that I'm going to build some grand tool that changes your life. I'm just a person who is doing this on the side because I love the community. I do very much appreciate your support in the past and your feedback for the future!
