Hi,
So we're in hibernation for a couple of weeks at least and to be honest we're all comfortable with that. Playing in this heat, mainly to those on the terrace enjoying the view and trying to keep cool, wasn't easy for us. Couple that with the later nights and people being able to enjoy the beach for longer made the Sunset Sessions difficult to justify financially for Cafe la Ola. We understand that, we're not mercenaries and we're all content with giving them a break.
The good news is that we're not staying silent! It would be crazy not to take on a night or two when we can so tomorrow night we'll be in Spoons, PDC with many of our old friends from The Big Easy. We all loved the Christmas Eve gig there and despite the load in we're all looking forward to tomorrow. It'll be up to the wifi gods and Marc's patience with cameras whether or not we'll stream it but be prepared just in case.
In other news Lanzarote remains busy and very, very hot. Just typing this post has me sweating on to the keyboard! I'll see if I can sort a little Drive Through sooner rather than later too. Sorry about that, it just hasn't quite happened and it's not always on my mind when I'm in PDC. Forgive me.
Oh, and I 'think' we're in Spoons this Saturday too. We'll follow that up with alternative Saturday's until further notice for anyone coming out soon.
