We're in Barney's tomorrow night ( Monday ) and as usual we'll be streaming the gig for you, direct to your home as a means of bringing a bit of Live Music from Lanzarote straight in to your living room!
The other gigs will be streamed too, those being Cafe La Ola on Wednesday ( 29th ) and Thursday ( 30th ). For the latter we'll be under the famous DJ booth outside which should be fun as long as the temperature holds;-)
I'll drive through on Wednesday evening too, just so you can check on Puerto del Carmen and see those lucky enough to be here dining as well as being entertained up and down the strip.
There's been a lot of hysteria on social media regarding the eruption in La Palma and whilst it's understandable that most won't know the history, the geography or the monitoring process of each individual island, it is safe to say that we've very little to worry about here unless the situation changes ( which is very, very, very unlikely ).
Cases of Covid are bang on the 100 mark at present which considering the influx of tourism is positive news in my humble opinion. It's controllable, we're working, you're on holiday and everyone can live again.
As far as we're concerned we're edging closer and closer to a permanent gig. All will be revealed soon enough, once it's over the line. We're hoping to make Live Steaming the gigs a big part of the new venue too as we put a load of time, energy and money in to cameras, software and tech to be able to do so. We're literally chomping at the bit but patience... is a virtue... and breathe;-)
