Hi, I’m Conor, the creator and developer for the game site, Strike or Sike. I’m a current Computing Science student and avid board game player. To learn more about me and my projects, click here.
Strike or Sike was started during the pandemic as a way for my family and me to entertain ourselves together despite living on opposite coasts. It was inspired by one of my favourite board games “Hit or Miss” which has since been discontinued. Since I couldn't find an online version, I decided to make it myself.
As a computing science student, I’ve learned about privacy and how data is often sent to third parties. This project has been designed not to store any personal data and all data used is purged after the game page is exited. There will never be cookies, pop-ups, ads, or intrusive analytics.
With no ads, all support for maintaining and improving Strike or Sike is by donation, with all expenses being currently covered by my funds. This project is not for profit, but every bit helps offset the server and hosting fees that come with making Strike or Sike available to play.
Thanks for stopping by and since I don’t drink coffee, I hope you drop me a tea :)
