Hey! What's up AfriCan Fam! I hope all is well with you. I'm doing great! It's been a while since my last post and I apologize for that. I have been occupied with lots of ideas for logos personal and professional. As the title states, I have successfully completed my first official paid logo graphics! I'm so excited and I'm also happy I could help someone's ideas become a reality.
I posted a free ad on the JiJi App here in Ghana and I finally got a message asking for my services. I was over the moon when the client ask me to make a few concepts for him. On day 1 I created a few concept designs from the information he gave me for the business he was starting. 2 days later he chose his final design and delivered the logo to him via WhatsApp. he was so pleased with my work he paid me in advance and he wanted 2 more logos done for his church and someone else. the client was attracting more clients to me. Within 5 days I had done 2 logos while working on the 3rd. I went from 0 clients to having 2.
Yesterday I sent him the concepts of the church logo (design # 3) and he replied to me with a voice message saying how pleased he is with my work and he was speechless. I was ecstatic because I could hear the excitement in his voice. This was a huge confidence boost for me! I was also amazed while looking at the finished logo thinking "I made this?!" "Wow!" I've learned a lot these past few days doing designs and I am always excited to learn and use these new skills I've practiced to help others.
