President Joe Biden's sagging approval rating has made an unprecedented recovery as news emerges that actress, activist and communist Jane Fonda is among those who've been left behind in the aftermath of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Fonda, who had transitioned seamlessly from Vietcong propaganda puppet in the 1970s to cash in on the aerobics craze of the 1980s, was in the process of reinventing herself yet again by assisting Afghan women in procuring burkhas in those regions of the country where austere attire had become rare owing to the occupying infidel forces.
Biden's approval rating, which had been hovering in the low 40s before news emerged of Fonda's plight, subsequently skyrocketed to the mid 80s according to the latest polls from Reuters. The president's approval increased dramatically among people of all political stripes including Republicans and Democrats, independents, men and women, all ethnic groups, those for and against to U.S. involvement in Afghanistan as well as every living former U.S. President with the exception of George W. Bush, who expressed concern for Fonda and lauded her contributions to world peace.
