New Life: Outside of Sun Moon Pack - Epilogue

Nov 16, 2020

Please remember that the bulk of the story will conclude in the main story, "New Life." I didn't put much detail in Mew and Gulf's ending because I didn't want to give away too much of the main story since it has yet to end.

I will post this short epilogue in wattpad once I have finished the main story, but I will post it here for the ones who follow me.

If I haven't said it yet, thank you so much for following me here on this platform. This means the world to me.

Now on with the story.

Epilogue

Mew POV

Gulf and I walk out of another university meeting with all the departments heads.  After several years, they are finally listening to me and doing what I ask in order to speed the meetings along.  It was a rough first year though, but they all ended up coming around.  I think they probably got tired of the fighting.  I wasn’t going to back down from my policies and procedures, no matter who they knew or how they got their title.  None of that matters to me.

In addition, I think it surprised them that I didn’t let Alpha Marcus bully me to get his way.  The previous dean had bent as soon as Alpha Marcus applied some pressure, but I didn’t.  Well, Alpha Marcus did try, but he had no idea who he was messing with.

Still to this day, none of Alpha Marcus’ pack know that Gulf and I are part of the Sun Moon pack, which gives us a leg up.  Well, it doesn’t really matter now whether we have a leg up or not.  We don’t have to worry about Alpha Marcus. He is gone.

It seems like just yesterday that Gulf and I were helping Bas, Tae and Pavel to plan the strategy to win the war and take down Alpha Marcus at the same time.  I’m so glad that it worked.  Well, it didn’t go completely according to plan, but it did work, and the war ended almost as soon as it started.

As Gulf and I walk down the hall and towards my office, I tentatively ask, “So, babe, how are you feeling?  Did your lunch settle well?”

He nods his head and hums, “Yeah.  I was careful and ate something kind of bland.  Oh, don’t forget the birthday party back at the house.  I still can’t believe that Max and Tul are two years old already.”

He softly chuckles.  “When they said that the two couldn’t leave each other, they weren’t kidding.  You would think that someone is pulling their hair or something with the big fit that they throw each night when they have to separate and sleep in different rooms.”

I chuckle too as images of Max and Tul begin to float through my mind.  We don’t have to wait until the two are 18 to find out who their mates are.  I’m positive that they are mates.  Tae and Tee’s son, Max, is an alpha, while Bas and Copter’s son, Tul, is an omega.  The elders have already stated that this is the first time in history that Bas’ family and Tee’s family have been mates with each other.  They are also assuming that Max and Tul’s children will be even more gifted and special than Bas and Tee are.

It is almost like the stars aligned when Copter and Tee were pregnant.

With a smile on my face, I lean my head towards Gulf’s ear and ask, “Who do you think our child’s mate will be?  Oh, are we going to tell everyone tonight?”

Gulf chuckles again.  “I don’t care who our child’s mate is as long as our child is happy.  As for telling everyone else, are you forgetting who we are going to be around?  I don’t think we’ll have to say anything.  I think that our friends and family will say it for us.”

Well, Gulf is probably right.

I glance down at his stomach.  His little baby bump is hidden behind his clothes, but it is slowly forming.  This will be the first time that we are going to be back at the pack house since Gulf found out that he is pregnant.  We have had too much work that we haven’t been able to get back sooner.

I nod my head.  “You are right.  I probably don’t have to worry about telling our friends and family.  I bet Tee can sense our baby as soon as we walk into the house, maybe even before.  Are we going to leave right after work?”

Gulf nods.  “Yeah.  We will leave on time today and get to the house a little early.  I want to play with Max and Tul for a bit before the party.”

***

As I sit on the couch in the game room at the pack house, I take a drink of some punch while watching Gulf.  Copter has told everyone that the video games are off limits until Max and Tul’s birthday party is done.  So instead of having the room filled with teenagers yelling at each other to watch out while their eyes locked on the TV, the room is filled with a small group of adults watching the two toddlers.

I can’t help but to smile as I watch Gulf play with Max and Tul.  Gulf is such a natural at being a parent.  I can’t wait to see him with our child.

With my eyes still watching Gulf, Bas sits down next to me.  “Congrats, cous.  I’m so happy for you.”

My smile widens, as I turn my attention towards Bas.  “Thanks, cous.  Congrats with you too.  It looks like we will have kids the same age.”

Bas smiles and glances over towards Copter, who is sitting down on the floor next to Gulf.  “Yeah.  I’m pretty lucky.  To be honest, I never thought that I would be this happy after I lost Godt, but Copter has brought so much happiness into my life that he not only brightened my life, but he has managed to heal all my wounds.  Some of the wounds, I didn’t even realize that I had.”

I nod my head and look down at my cup of punch in my hands.  “I know what you mean.  I never thought that I would be happy again after I lost May and Matt, but Gulf has managed to heal all my wounds and to give me a child.  I can’t wait to hear the little pitter patter of little feet running through the house again.  I have missed that so much.”

Instead of looking at what I’ve lost, I’m finally looking forward to what I have and what is yet to happen.  I couldn’t thank Gulf enough for what he has done for me.

I lift my cup and motion towards Max and Tul.  “So, those two are the next alphas for the pack?”

Bas chuckles and nods his head.  “I guess so.  The Supreme Elder hasn’t said anything about it, and I haven’t asked, but everyone is assuming that the two will take over the title when they actually claim each other as mates.  It is so different because we already know when they are two that they are mates.  At least with our next pup, we won’t know, and it will be a surprise.”

I chuckle and shake my head.  “Don’t say that yet.  You never know.  Your first pup is the same age as Tae and Tee’s child, and the two pups are mates.  Now, we are having a pup which will be the same age as your pup.  Maybe our pups will be mates.  If you think about it, it would be rather funny if that happens.”

Bas looks at Copter and then at Tul, before he hesitantly laughs.  “I guess it could be, but with them being cousins, I’m hoping not.  By the way, have you thought of a name for your pup, or is it too early?”

I take another drink of my punch.  I glance over at Gulf and slowly shake my head.  “No.  We haven’t talked about it yet.  Shoot, we just found out from Tee that we are having a boy.”  I pause for a moment to watch Gulf as he pretends to be a cat and meows at Max and Tul.

Cute.

With my eyes still on Gulf, I add, “But I have always liked Kao as a name.  Do you have a name picked out for your next pup?”

Bas nods and takes a drink from his cup.  “Yeah.  We had toyed with the name Cooheart before, but we ended up deciding to go with Tul.  So, I think we will probably use Cooheart this time around.”

I turn towards Bas and smile.  “I agree.  It has a nice sound.  I wonder if Cooheart and Kao will play together like Max and Tul do.”

I glance back towards Gulf and shrug my shoulders.  “I guess we will find out once the pups are here, but I have a feeling that they will, at least, be good friends.”

I slowly nod my head.  Only time will tell if that will happen or not.
