Let me tell you a little bit about myself...
My name's Nikolai Lacson, but you can call me Nik or "DemoNik" as my friends would call me. I've been doing online marketing, specializing in SEM, for more than 15 years. But ever since Covid happened or worsen early 2020, I lost my job as my mental health worsen too. I had to check myself with a professional and learned that apparently, I have ADHD (without the "H"). I had to focus on figuring out on how to deal with it with the help of my very loving and supportive wife.
In the process, I found a new passion in the form of photography. I started taking pictures of whatever we have at home and eventually got more into toy-photography. I started using my phone and eventually moved on to a mirror-less camera. I've also re-discovered my long time dream to be a story-teller -- something I've always wanted to do since I was in high school.
Cut the story short, here we are! I'll be sharing my passion in visual art and stories in the forms of horror, Goth, absurdity, and everything in between. I hope you can support me on my journey as I'm hoping to do this full time. Going into the rabbit-hole with my kind of art has helped me deal with mental condition and finally feel that there's life outside my comfort zone.
And so I do wish you enjoy, get scared, get fascinated, and overall entertained by my work! Art is subjective after all.
