Ekushe Udyan (একুশে উদ্যান), located at 1A, Cathedral Rd, Maidan, Kolkata, West Bengal 700071 is a lush green park located in Central Kolkata. It is at stone throw distance from both MP Birla Planaterium and St. Paul's Cathedral. It commemorates the killing of 14 protesters and injuring many by police firing on 21 July 1993 by Kolkata Police in 1993 on Indian National Congress workers. The park is the site for the annual 21 July Martyr's Day Rally organized by the All India Trinamool Congress to commemorate the 1993 Kolkata firing as Martys' Day.
