My proudest accomplishment hasn't happened yet. That would be me getting my full benefits. I know some would not consider that an achievement. To be awarded those they'd have to declare me disabled. Which my friends, medical staff & almost anyone, really, think I should be. With being a 3x cancer warrior. Currently with stage 4 uterine. Being in active treatment. Also PTSD & depression from being a multi abuse survivor.
A victory is usually due to a skill or talent & having set a goal for one's self or realizing a dream. In my case it's based on a circumstance. No matter. I'll take it. Being able to have these benefits will enable me to do so much more. I still won't always have the energy & I need to continue limiting contact. Still, there won't be the stress I'm experiencing now. I'll be able to take call of all of my expenses & hopefully, then some. When I do feel up to doing things, I'll have the funds for it & not have to worry that I don't have what I need for rent & such. Being that I'm a thrifty person who likes sales, bargains, discounts & deals, I can stretch those benefits out.
It will be the start of a lot that is good. Eventually I want to be able to have a rescue/sanctuary. I've wanted that for more than half my life. Mainly for cats & dogs, but also some other critters. That are senior, challenged and/or in need of hospice. Most would live with me. Some would be fostered, even adopted. That financial assistance will point me in the right direction. For the immediate, I want to gain a lot of followers for my writing. Helping others & being creative are the two things that make me feel like I'm serving my higher purpose & that bring me joy. What is the best thing that you've fulfilled, so far?
