Eclectic Full Contact Theatre has been sidelined, just like all other arts organizations, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic. 
EFCT has long been known for presenting live theatre that is wide-ranging in style, genre and subject, and while we can't put on any live performances, we aren't idle. In an attempt to still allow artists and creators to create, Eclectic is moving over to audio drama! Joining our currently running audio drama series, the hilarious old-time radio parody, "Throwing Shade", 

Eclectic is launching the Eclectic Podcast network!

Following the same desire to tell stories that span many different subjects and genres, we have assembled an amazing team of writers, from Chicago to Massachusetts, from Florida to London, and even Dublin and Belgium, to present four audio drama series and one amazing anthology!

We can't gather together to watch theatre, but the most basic component of storytelling is just that--telling. Listening to stories predates all other forms of art, and Eclectic is using this unique moment in time to amplify the voices of those who have been too often ignored in both society and the arts themselves.

Eclectic Full Contact Theatre is committed to changing the landscape of theatre by focusing on the work of women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ artists.

Our new series are all helmed by women, BIPOC, and/or LGBTQ writers and directors, and our casts will reflect that same diversity as we tell their stories.
