Collide | Prologue

Being a part of the special team of Montes Shipping Lines is one of the best decisions I have ever made. After kong maka graduate ng college, agad akong nakapasok bilang isang junior analyst sa isang food company. Nagtatlong taon ako doon bago ako lumipat bilang assistant accountant sa isang real estate company at nang offeran ako upang makasali sa special team ng Montes Shipping Lines two years ago, hindi na ako nag atubili na mag resign at sumali.

Lima kami sa special team. It sounded fancy, but our real work is to work directly under the new CEO of the company. Kade Montes is the first born of Kent Montes, the former CEO. Two years ago, ay ipinasa na ni Kent Montes ang pamamahala sa kanilang kumpanya sa panganay na anak. My mother's closest friend and my ninang, Angelou, was the former CEO's assistant.

As the company is now at its finest, naisip mismo ni Kent Montes na bumuo ng special team na direktang magtatrabaho sa bagong CEO. That's when ninang Angelou told me to try.

Hindi ko alam kung may kinalaman sya sa pagkaka hired ko o wala, but I have never been thankful. The salary and the benefits are unbelievable good; my workmates are competitive but all nice to work with.

When I was in college, may roommate ako na suma sideline sa isang maliit na film company.

I fell in love with the guy on the first film I watched. It's a movie about unrequited love.

I kept the feeling until I graduate. I have had my few past relationships but I feel hangover with the guy na sa tv ko lang naman nakita. I still kept the cd, just in case.

Fast forward after six years, nang matanggap ako sa Montes Shipping Lines, that's when I saw the guy again, and in person. It's our boss, the CEO Kade Montes.

Sure, mas naging gwapo sya at mas gumanda ang katawan nya.

How can a guy this rich star in a low budget film like the one I saw? Pero nalaman ko kung saan sya kumuha ng Political Science and it is the same school where my former roommate went too.

After that, ginawa ko ang lahat upang umiwas sa boss namin. My heart is always pounding like crazy whenever I see him. I feel like I am going crazy with his effect on me, but to quit on this job is the last thing that I want to do.

So, I decided to suck it up.

Kade Montes is perfect. Bukod sa pisikal na anyo nya at sa yaman ng pamilya nya, masipag, matalino at mabait pa. But the one thing that made me want to run away from him more is the fact that he's a lady magnet.

Don't get me wrong. He's not a playboy or a womanizer. Kade is actually having relationships with them, only to break up after a few weeks or months. And it's a cycle.

One of them even became his fiancé.

Not that I keep track or something, pero mahirap na hindi ko iyon malaman dahil sya ang palaging hot topic tuwing umaga ng ilang empleyado na nakakasalubong ko. And as I am the youngest member of special team, wala akong masyadong makausap tungkol sa mga ganoong bagay.

I can't let my feelings for him rule over me. I am a professional, and pros don't fall in love with their boss or even have feelings for them.
