In 2021 I was commissioned by the law firm Latham & Watkins to create a piece of art that represented my perspective on the scales of justice. “Just Us” was completed in 2022 and depicts our society reaching for the scales of justice filled with flowers that represent our hope for a just future. It now hangs in Latham’s New York office. Projects like this demonstrate the true power of public art and why Black art is so valuable in all spaces and can inspire people to strive for more.
