Hey there! 👋🏼 I’m Jen, a nurse, single mom, & tick-tocker! During the pandemic the world finally has been able to understand what nurses experience on a daily basis. But what people don’t know is that this pressure has always been there even before the pandemic. I’m very proud of the title that has been given to us as heroes. But, all heroes know that with great powers, come greater responsibilities, & all nurses need to understand that no matter how important the patient is, our #1 responsibility is our own health & wellness. Nurses themselves, their communities and families don’t realize that nurses are pouring from empty cups.
