Lots of listeners to Haptic & Hue have said they would like to do something to help Ukrainian refugees. There is a desperate need for blankets for the estimated 10 million new refugees who have been created by this war. If you feel you can knit a single square to a simple pattern, or if you are part of a community that would like to make an entire blanket, this is your chance!
The British charity Hope and Aid Direct is running regular convoys out to Poland and Ukraine with supplies that are needed, including blankets. You do not have to be in the UK to knit and supply squares - they can come from anywhere in the world, as long as you can post them.
