We all have the propensity to laud our accomplishments less than we should and deride our shortfalls way too much. That's human nature. We are excellent at negative self talk, but accountability is different. To whom are you responsible, who is responsible for your outcomes? It's that incredible individual in the mirror. So set goals, dreams, aspirations in your health, vocation, relationships and spiritual life. Spend time looking at the mirror, asking yourself are you doing what is right, are you on the right track. Look yourself in the eyes and ask, Would yesterday's me be proud of what I am doing? Preparedness takes time and effort, it's a journey, not a fleeting moment in time, so question your progress and have those challenging conversations with yourself.
