You likely live in some form of democratic nation, where you have a vote every few years on choosing your leaders at all levels of government. This requires you to know your politics, to understand what the politicians say they intend to do when in power and what history tells us they are actually going to do. That gap is the important area between plan and action. What are the main issues that affect you and your family as well as the greater good. Preparedness is all about taking steps in advance of crisis, so do the same with politics.
