The Foul-Tempered Harpsichord

Dear Friends

I cannot begin to imagine the catalogue of sins (be they wilfully carnal or simply venial and so not wholly blocking the inflow of sanctifying grace) that you may have committed in your Earth-bound lives, but it stands to reason that they must be many and grave to have visited upon you the mortification of the fleshy parts of your lugholes (albeit a worthy spiritual discipline) of two compositions of mine in one day … you are indeed both sinned against and sinning!

This 90 seconds of execrable baroque’n’ roll was recorded half alive in the remains of the crypt of St Jemima Bytheway‘s in Parvis Magna and is not in anyway to be mistaken for, compared to or in anyway affiliated with a similarly named  set of compositions by some German bloke a few hundred years ago.

I do hope you are truly contrite and that each note that pierces also kisses your soul for, to quote the sagacity of St Leonard of Westmount  “There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in”

I hope you enjoy ❤️
