My story is taking shape and I am nearing the 20,000 word mark. Quality over quantity is my ultimate focus. I will not rush to get a story out no matter how tempting it may be.
I genuinely love speculating the different outcomes and possibilities of my story. My notebook has become a companion in which I always try to write down ideas no matter how irrelevant or silly they might seem. Maybe, I might be able to work with an idea in some way or another. For anyone writing a story, I highly recommend keeping a notebook or some safe place to jot down quick thoughts and ideas for your story.
I am also making sure to flesh out my characters by getting to know them better. In order to make them more believable, I have to make them relatable. While difficult, I've been enjoying getting in my character's mindset and just getting to know them better.
Hopefully by my next update, I will have made substantially more progress.
