It's been a while! I have some news. I've decided with much thought and consideration to go ahead and serialize my WIP as a Kindle Vella story!
The best thing about serializing my story on Vella, at least to me, is that as long as I publish 10 episodes (as they are called in Vella, instead of chapters), I can create a book out of my Kindle Vella episodes. As of now, I've just published episode 4.

As most on Kindle Vella are aware, the first 3 episodes you read on any Vella story is free, automatically. After that you will be required to use tokens and how much depends on how long an episode is.
Oh! I've also been working on designing my book cover! I'm under the free trial offer under Canva, and thought I better make the most of it. This is what I have so far. I think I really like the design so far.

I also need to do some serious reading on Kindle Vella by the way. I have 200 tokens to spend. Maybe I will find a sci fi / adventure story from a fellow writer that will inspire me to keep writing. It's always nice getting a glimpse into another's imagination and discovering new worlds.
