Happy Sunday ya'll, Hope you got some sleep. Man, it's been a crazy week. I outed most of my agents. I've always been their opp so that wasn't difficult to do. I've explained that I was on to the agents before I was onto the acts. The idea of outing "sources" in media is strange to me. Why would anyone ever trust you with the next big thing?
My ability to see the playing field and call flags on plays makes me a different type of manager. The only business that works from the top down is a sole proprietorship. What I recognize now is I came into this space with a different mindset. I knew what I wanted to create and who I wanted to reach.
That happened out the gate. The first real person on my platform wasn't someone from any of these Youtube Clickships. It was a young gentleman who was intrigued by my "How I Murdered a Fat Chick" Thumbnail and title. He was a real regular guy, and we spoke about the diaspora and parenting, being from the south.

He stayed around for a bit. Until "They" came. I honestly didn't know about the "Chitterling Circuit" of Sleuthtube until, after I'd offended their dear leaders and gone on the KS panel. But they knew. They know, and they watch you, then they send the best agent to match your style.
The question becomes, what happens when they can't get you to play along? How much information can they get you to share? What will they do with it when you don't?
While I was always on guard, after this bit of info, I continued to go about my program. It didn't take long for the moles to expose themselves. NO conversation comes without an exchange of information. So here is a tip.
EVERYTHING, You didn't come to the space intending to do is a distraction or diversion. There are those inside who will try to warn you. You can tell from the exhausted smiles on their faces. These people have been on the small stage for years. Many want to rest as much as they want to see change.
The schedules necessary to please sleuthtube and meet their obligations leave little time for rest. I went on several panels this first year, and created this BMAC along with getting myself monetized on IG without even realizing it🤭 These were all conscious decisions based on my personal goals.
What everyone failed to realize was, I had already been love-bombed and bullied several times over in these social media spaces. While many of them were either in diapers or ignoring their families for funds, I was able to live an unscripted life.
While I walked the "Dutiful Wife" line, I was able to interact with the world on many levels. I was writing well before I came to the visual media spaces. They latched onto me there. Harder to recognize the love bombing when it's just text.
Security is crucial. The moles come from all walks and while the words used are different, the point is the same, to phish for your information. If you wouldn't put it in a book don't share it. If you gotta hide your face or voice, your reasons need to be more than plausible, thus they will use that to encourage you to overshare. Stand on your square.
If you would put it in a book, that means it has value. Why would you simply give that away for free? You are your stories, your stories have value. They are a part of no one's season, series, or minidrama, but your own seasons of life.
