Correctly do Meditation with this 9 Steps

In this era, mental health has become a huge concern globally.

Meditation is an exercise for the mind like we have running and swimming for the body. It have many long-lasting benefits: It helps in lowering stress level, reducing negative emotion, improving self-awareness, and helps in increasing creativity & imagination.

Meditation is an ancient practice,

It has been traced back to Hinduism, In around 1500 BCE meditation was practiced for mindfulness. Meditation got further developed in China between 600 - and 500 BCE. Though the exact origin is not known yet.

In the practice of mediation, we focus on our breath and how to be present in the moment with self-awareness. It sounds simple but takes time to be a master.

Steps to meditate correctly,

Step 1:- Find a calm & quiet place, usually in the morning.

Step 2:- Take a comfortable position, either lay or sit down

Step 3:- Set your time limit, which should be more than 10 minutes.

Step 4:- After you are comfortable, close your eyes slowly, keep a smile and start breathing naturally.

Step 5:- Then start your mindful breathing, inhale for 3 seconds, hold it for 2 seconds, and exhale for 4 seconds.

Step 6:- Start feeling yourself from the tip of your head to your toe, gradually and slowly.

Step 7:- You'll start feeling a layer of energy around your body,

Step 8:- Notice when your mind wanders, repeat the following words "Positivity in, Negativity out"

Step 9:- End with compassion and kindness, Open your eyes and feel the difference.

As a beginner, you'll feel a lot harder to focus even for a minute but with daily practice, it becomes easier.
