I wanted to send you an incredible story I recently heard about the power of persistence.

In the 1940s, there was a man who at the age of 65 was, unfortunately, living off $99 social security checks, in a tiny house, and a car that barely worked.

He wanted to finally make a change, so he thought about what he was good at, and what he could offer the world.

His mind went to his fried chicken recipe which all of his friends and family loved.

So he traveled throughout the country to different restaurants to try and sell his recipe. He even offered places the recipe for free in exchange for a commission.

However, most of the places declined his offer. 1,009 to be exact.

But even after all of those rejections, he never gave up and on the 1,010th attempt, a restaurant agreed.

His name? Colonel Hartland Sanders, the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

It is never too late to find success in life. If you are feeling beat down right now, and tired of your day-to-day life, realize that you can turn your life around today, as long as you don't give up and are persistent!
