I think Psalms 23 is a favorite of just about every person on the planet.
David's thoughts penned so long ago bring us comfort and strength no matter what we're currently experiencing.
Verse 6 in the Passion Translation says: "So why would I fear the future? For Your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life."
Picture God's goodness in pursuit of you in order to ensure that you're blessed.
Picture God's love in pursuit of you in order to ensure that you're secure in Him.
With those pictures in mind we understand why there is no need to fear the future. Wherever the future takes us God's goodness and love will find us there.
Knowing this, we rest in Him and take one day at a time enjoying the fact that we're a King's kid. Our Heavenly Father loves us with an everlasting love.
