In patriarchal culture, men often use power to deny the experience of their partner or others. Often we don’t acknowledge or ignore the perspective of our partner. This happens because from our early childhood We are told to hide our emotions and feelings. We need to understand that by not listening or seeing people we are practicing violence which at time translate into serious crime like domestic violence. Like every other human being, we can also change, if we create support space to open up our emotions. We can challenge patriarchy and build a safe space for ourselves and others.

In the third episode of Kisse Kahaaniyan, Aseer recited nazm of Ahmad Faraz which talks about the recognition, care, trust, and respect in love.

Let us grow, learn and build a space together.
