The purpose of this class it to teach how to use Red Wiggler composting worms to manage food waste and in the process create vermicast. Vermicast is worm castings. Worm castings have enhanced microbial population that helps suppress diseases, it improves soil structure and texture, aerates soil, increases water holding capacity, and much more! Most importantly, worm castings are Ocean friendly and Pet friendly! Why not stop throwing your food waste in the trash where it will end up in a landfill and begin your worm farming journey using those food scraps?
