God,
Tonight I give you anything that is not in my control. I won’t waste my precious time worrying about it. I will trust whatever happens, I will be ok.
Tonight I reflect on what and who I am willing to forgive, and what I am not ready to forgive and I accept however I feel about it right now. I know I deserve love and sometimes that is all I need to know in order to heal my heart. I leave the rest for you to figure out.
Tonight I leave the door of hope open. I tell any of those downer thoughts to take a breather because I’m not listening to them tonight. I’m listening to words that offer hope, and seeing things to be hopeful about. I let that hope be.
Tonight I pray my loved ones are safe and feel loved and supported. I pray my loved ones are treated kindly. I pray my loved ones receive what they need. I pray my loved ones heal from whatever may be ailing them.
God, you know how the stars stay suspended in the sky. You know why the planets were created. You know why I am here. Tonight I trust your plan for me.
Thank you, full moon, for shining light in the darkness and reminding us the sun will grant us a fresh new day tomorrow.
