Those of you keen on street mural art could believably be familiarized with this truly prodigious piece I suddenly stumbled upon and photographed on the 12th of October of 2019 on my first steps in Waterford City, Ireland, images of which I presume must have amply been in circulation for a time, for it is memorable indeed. But I had the good fortune of taking this image with a nice blend of what I take it to be a representation of today’s Ireland’s assorted marvels: the mundane and the divine, the old and the new, the heights of art and philosophy, and the everyday comings and goings of petty lovely human beings.
