Pro tip: Don't get a job working in a hospital. Unless you have a love of the medicinal field or are actually passionate about the job itself, working in a hospital is a nightmare.
I know that opening line has nothing to do with Gundams or conventions, but its coming from a place of absolute dread over the last couple of days. Some days it really doesn't seem to be worth it, and making myself get up and go into the office is a struggle.
But moving on!
So I tweeted about how the original people I was working with to produce t-shirts up and vanished... And that is definitely something I am still working on. I had been having struggles getting in contact with them for the last couple of months, and so I was using another company to have shirts made in time for conventions this year. It sucked because they were more expensive than my original company and so it was kind of hurting me in the long run, but it was all I could do in order to make sure I had stock for my upcoming shows. And with the end of the month coming up, I wanted to check in on them again and figure out what was going on as I wanted to launch my Gundam apparel... But yeah, the website for them and all my contacts with them have disappeared. Leaving me a little more than high and dry. But I am currently working on establishing contacts with another company that could help get things rolling again. Unfortunately it just looks like all the bigger apparel pieces I was originally planning to release are going to be pushed back. But other pieces like the hats should be available in the next couple of weeks.
It's been a heck of a couple of months, I tell ya.
So between the day job struggles and the apparel struggles, I have been doing my best to find joy and relief in other aspects of my life. Luckily it has become spooky season, so theres lots of little things to bring light into my life. Like eyeball snow globes and pumpkin flavoured snacks.
I was fortunate enough to receive a package from ColourPop Cosmetics with the spooky Hocus Pocus 2 bundle! So that got me super excited. I don't know if I'll get to watch the new movie though, as its only streaming on Disney+ right now and I am not paying for another streaming service, lol. But when I can find it somewhere else I will definitely be giving it a peak!
I am also super excited for all the pre-orders that were announced like 2 days ago. I am trying to limit myself, but its really hard when P-Bandai owns my soul. There were so many clear builds, and I love me some clear builds. And even though I am not a Zaku fan, I kind of love how ridiculous that pink one is, lol. I want it just because it looks so over the top. I know its ugly. Thats its charm to me.
I think I understand why some people have ugly dogs now....
I have one last convention this year, and then I'm going to make an effort to make more time for build streams and videos while also prepping for next years conventions. I know this year I was less than prepared for some of the conventions I visited, but I have learned a lot from this whole experience and I am going forward with all the knowledge I gained from it.
And if everything works out, I won't have to work at the hospital anymore! Yayyyy!

I was also thinking about maybe starting to post some step by step tutorials on here.... But I already post some video tutorials on tiktok. Im just wanting to make some more content specifically for here and I've been working on figuring that out. I've been juggling a lot of thoughts and ideas in my brain meat, so I'm sorry nothing has actually happened yet, lol.
But for now, I am off to get yelled at again! And hopefully I'll be back with more updates and content for you!
