This is the beautiful Böksta runestone. It features a carving of a hunting scene, possibly with Odin on his steed and the obscure god Ullr. Did the Viking Age runemaster base this scene upon the constellations?
The skiing figure in the bottom left of the stone has been identified with the god of skiing, archery and hunting named Ullr. Does the Böksta stone depict the region of Orion? Orion is prominently visible during fall and winter, when the hunting season starts.
