Venison Chili

This is one of my favorite things Zach has cooked for me. I felt the need to share it with everyone.

1) 1lb of ground Venison

2) 8oz cans of crushed Tomatoes

2) 8oz cans of Red Beans

1) 8oz can of Black Beans

1) 8oz can of Pinto Beans

1) Packet of Chili Seasoning

1) Chopped Onion

Optional: Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese, & Hot Sauce

  • First Brown your ground venison in a pan

  • Then in a big pot add in all of your ingredients.(We used a Cast Iron Pot)

And cook for roughly 10-20 Minutes.

  • Add in your favorite toppings: Mine are a dollop of sour cream, shredded cheese and my Aunt Carmen's Homemade Hot Sauce

Note: Zach and I have a tripod so we hang the Cast Iron Pot over the fire. Nothing better then having chili over the fire!
